During the holiday season, the last thing people should worry about is keeping their water running. Water shutoffs have been banned statewide through December 31, 2021, but those with water debt will be at-risk for shutoffs once again in the new year, unless their water system acts now.

During this time our community partners are stepping up for safe water in their communities.

We’ve taken time this month to work on our strategic planning, along with our community partners, for how we’re moving forward to ensure safe, clean, and affordable water, both for our immediate needs and in the long-term.

Now more than ever, ensuring all Californians have access to safe, clean, and affordable drinking water is critical to public safety.

We’re working closely with broad-based coalitions, including environmental, water, agricultural, and business leaders, to keep the water flowing and get the funding our communities need.

May has been a month of unprecedented proportions. We continue to find new opportunities to grow and explore things from a fresh perspective during this difficult time for our communities and the world.
